🐎 The story behind “Buster”

This logo started as one of the first designs ever drawn for Westrek.

It was inspired by a dun horse named Buster — a main riding partner through high school and countless days in the mountains, deserts, and hills of the West.

Together, we found sheds, chased cattle, and built memories that eventually turned into this brand.

One of those finds — a set of mule deer sheds known as “WES” — became the foundation for many of the designs you see today. 

This hat carries that story.
